NFL WIZARD issue XVII 'Salute to the Saints'

The 2009 NFL Wizard was no wizard this season. However, the New Orleans Saints did and they had the voodoo working also, that is for sure.

How foolish could we be laying so much money on the Indianapolis Colts when all the voodoo priestesses had all those pins in the Peyton Manning doll. It was that last pin that did it. The one stuck in Peyton with just over five minutes left to play in the game. Pick seven, and it was over!

With the Manning family history in Louisiana it must of been hard for some of those priestesses but I am sure that a small part of Peyton is truly happy for the city of New Orleans. I also wonder who Archie Manning was truly rooting for?

Having spent my honeymoon in New Orleans it is a city that I respect for many reasons. It is a city truly rich in culture, from Cajun cooking to the Voodoo Religion to all the legendary Jazz music it is an amazing city.

Having gone threw the Katrina Hurricane I am extremely happy for the city and it's people. It was an awesome feeling when my New England Patriots won the Super Bowl shortly after 9-11, so I understand how they must feel. I great feeling it is!

Well the NFL Wizard finished the season with a 39-29 record, a 57% winners. The Wizards worst season ever. We will be back next year with a vengeance. Look for our first issue in August sometime with fantasy football draft preparation issues.

Golf season is here and it is time to swing the clubs. If you gamble on golf do not forget about Bottom Line J for your picks. There is a link on this page on the left column to his site. Otherwise you can go to www.blj04.blogspot.com or satellite radio on Sirius 98 on Wednesday evenings usually shortly after 5:30pm. I also believe you can go to HardcoreSportsRadio.com. His picks are right on week after week do not miss out on them.

MARKET MAGIC REPORT issue XII 'A Quick Update'

Hello fellow traders, probably wondering why the MMR has not written an article in so long with all that has been going on. The MMR wanted you to fully understand that sometimes when the stock market is behaving this way the best thing to do is look the other way for a while.

Now some of you probably did not take my advice and sell your call options because we never came on here and told you to do so, correct? Well that is fine, even though we told you to sell at a certain point which the market did cross over. Great if you sold, that is what you should of done.

However, those of you that are still holding those call options. Great if you held them, that was certainly something you could of done. He's crazy your saying right now. Nope we are not crazy. We just know that the market sometimes acts very strange.

We here at the Market Magic Report (MMR) plan on having two Working Man's Portfolios now. Portfolio A - sold there call options and portfolio B - kept there call options. Hopefully this will not get confusing for you.

Portfolio A had a profit of about three hundred off those trades and that is where I will start it. Some of you probably did better than that and that is great but I think because we didn't have a exact sell point we need to take an average point of were you folks sold the options.

Portfolio B just continue to hold those options and I think we can still make some nice money. Just so everyone understands the reason some of us kept the options past the sell point was because it was holding the next support line so strong.

Which at the time was 1085 on the S&P. We are looking for the S&P to bounce off of the 1040 level at this point but if the market closes below that point you may want to sell what is left of your call options as our gamble did not pay off.

However, what we are truly looking for on the S&P is 1040 then to 1180 or 1200 then a bear market down to 800 area. However after that the sky is the limit and the MMR believes you will see 1500 on the S&P in 2013 and 2000 by 2016.

NFL WIZARD issue XVI

A Jewel of a Play for this Week.... The Super Bowl, the game of all games. Besides maybe the World Cup final game or the Olympics opening ceremony.

Naaaa... the Super Bowl is king and will always be that way, especially in this country. It is the game of all games here. There will be more things to bet on today than any other Sunday during football season.

From the coin flip to the Super Bowl winner you can gamble your life away. But here at NFL WIZARD we have found the winners for Super Bowl Sunday.

First and most important the line. Indianapolis -5 over New Orleans is the play. We also like the game to go under the 57 Total. We also found some very interesting lines. Indianapolis to win by 7 - 12 for a 3-1 pay off, awesome play here. Not necessary a recommendation but Indy to win between 13 - 18 at 5-1 isn't too bad also.

This game was hard to pick since my heart is with New Orleans but Indianapolis is the prudent play. Good Luck and let's hope that this Indy win does not make them the team of the century over the Pats.....
