JSK Hot Picks Vol. III Issue VII - 'All or Nothing'

I either win every pick or loose every pick this year! What is up with that?  A clean sweep this week bringing my totals to 15-11-1, 58% winners and a profit of $270.

It has been an up and down year, that's for sure, but there has been distractions however they are gone now and my focus can be on picking winners.  Only have two picks this week but I think they are money in the bank.

The Oakland Raiders -1.5 over Tampa Bay is a sweet play with the Buccs on there second straight road game.  Number two is Houston -10 over Buffalo and with Houston at home there defense probably will not allow the Bills to score.  And with Buffalo's woeful run defense, Foster will run wild.

Quick fantasy football update, if these players are still available grab them while you still can.  WR T. Young Detroit, RB J. Dwyer Pittsburgh, and RB D. Thomas Miami.

JSK Hot Picks Vol. III Issue VI - 'Trying To Get Hot'

Not doing so hot this year, but that's when you dig in and find the winners which I will do this week.  Last week was 1-2 bringing our totals for the year to 11-11-1, 50% winners with a balance of $130 in the red.

This weeks picks are Detroit -3 over Seattle, Atlanta +2.5 over Philly, Denver -6 over New Orleans, and the under 37.5 on Monday Night Football between the 49ers and Arizona.

On the fantasy football side of things there have been some nice surprises this season with Matt Ryan taking his game to the next level for one and a pleasant lack of major injuries this year, so far!  Considering all the top running backs that have missed time over the last two years.  Players that could be available that are going to have a good second half of the season are Rashard Jennings, Santana Moss, Kevin Walter and Brandon Bolden.  And those of you who have Jimmy Graham do not worry he will be hug in the second half of the season.

JSK Hot Picks Vol.3 Issue 5 - 'Short & Sweet'

This week I am just giving you my picks and will get caught up with everything next week.  This week I like Buffalo -3 over Tennessee, Buccs +3 over New Orleans, and Oakland +4 over Jacksonville.  The Pats -10 are close but not an official play.  But they should bury the Jets this week.  Look for the Patriots to bring down the hammer on the Jets.  I think Belicheck and the players all want to take out there frustration of the last few weeks on the woeful Jets.  Look for a 30 point blow out.

JSK Hot Picks Vol.3 Issue 4 - 'Just Warming Up'

Finally some winners after two bad weeks, as we went 3-1, bringing my season totals to 10-6-1, 63% winners with a profit of $340.

There are three sweet picks on the board this week that I feel really good about and a cage on these three picks could be the bet of the week.  The first play is on Monday Night Football, the San Diego Chargers -2 over Denver, then Kansas City +3.5 over Tampa Bay as the Buccaneers do not cover the number to often after bye weeks.  And Philly -5 over Detroit as the Lions are another team that has trouble covering the number after bye weeks.

And I have to say it too... it is good to see the regular officials back on the field.  Just makes the games flow much better, without conflict, or games given away by bad calls by inferior officials.  The NFL is one of the most successful privately owned companies in the world and seem to feel all powerful, but that subject is for an article all in itself.  Take this weeks picks to the bank.

JSK Hot Picks Vol.3 Issue 3 - 'Yikes'

'Yikes', 1-4-1 my last two weeks, not good, needs go get better.  My totals for the year are 7-5-1, 58% winners with a profit of $150.  Keeping it simple this week with four plays, New Orleans -3.5 over San Diego, Minnesota -5.5 over Tennessee, Giants -9 over Cleveland, and Cincinnati -3.5 over Miami.

JSK Hot Picks Vol.3 Issue 2 - 'Giving Some Back'

We gave a little money back this week as we went 1-2-1 and lost $120.  Our total for the year is 7-3-1, 64% winners with a profit of $370.

So how good does Houston look this year?  They will be my Super Bowl pick for 2012.  My prediction is Houston 32 - San Francisco 27.  After week one I was wondering if it might be an all Texas Super Bowl this year but Dallas has come back down to there pitiful self.

And what about that Monday Night Meltdown by the referee's?  NFL is turning into a joke if they let this go much longer.  No one will be laughing soon...

Anyway two picks this week, Detroit -4 over Minnesota and Arizona -6 over Miami.  Was tempted to add Chicago Monday Night but who knows what Dallas team will show up and better yet who will the referee's give the game to next week!

NFL = Nobody's Fuckin' Laughing

What a joke the NFL has become in 2012.  How are they not totally embarrassed about what happened last night on Monday Night Football?

To end a game like that in the NFL, just utterly embarrassing!  And that topped off a weekend that was simply pitiful with these replacement referee's.  It is almost not worth watching, but we do, we can not help ourselves.  We sit in front of the TV and watch the games, even though the refs are deciding the outcome of games.

So who is more pitiful; us or them?

Market Magic Report Vol. 3 Issue 3 - 'Back Soon!'

I will get back to this report soon.  I hate that I always get started with these things and never finish up or follow through.  Will get it done this time I hope.

The market is stuck in a rut and really needs a decent pullback before it can go forward.  Investor sentiment is picking up so the market might also.  But look for a pullback before the S&P can break through the 1480 level.

Some important levels to watch on the S&P are as follows: 1480, 1280, and 1180.  1180 keeps coming up in my readings and that would be a significant pullback.  But I am not looking for that much of a pullback just yet.

Gold should pullback a little more soon, will be a perfect time to buy as gold will be in the $2,500 range in a couple years.  Best thing right now might be to just hold on to your money!  I'll be back soon with more information and market winners.

JSK Hot Picks Vol.3 Issue 1 - 'Winning Ways'

I always forget to put my picks up on this blog.  I have been hitting them pretty well in my fantasy football league though so I thought I would try to remember to place them here as well.

So far this year I have hit 6 out of 7 picks for a 87% winning percentage.  Which also means we are up a profit of $490.  And I promise to keep it going for anyone, everyone who reads this blog.

In week three we like Miami +3 over the Jets, Arizona +4 over Philly, and Denver +2 over Houston all three are home underdogs.  We do like one favorite this week also Dallas -7 over Tampa Bay.  Dallas didn't show up last week and Tampa Bay's defence bends when away from home.  Buffalo almost made the list week for the third straight but there pitiful road record kept me away.  Good luck and I promise a full year of winners this year, whether someone reads this blog or not...

Market Magic Report Vol. III, Issue II 'Trouble Ahead'

I remember saying a year or two ago that it was the perfect time to buy because the stock market will never be this low again.  Well I believe now that I was wrong.  With what they are calling ‘the credit crisis’ and it effecting ever country out there I believe the United States is in for another ‘Great Depression’.

So I am going to recommend that over the next couple months to simply get out of the stock market.  Unless you wish to play the down turn in the stock market.  There are a few different ways you can play the upcoming bear market.

One way to play it would be to bet against the US dollar.  The Euro will be worthless at some point so betting against the Euro is another way to play.  Gold will continue to rise, so an investment there is always a good play.  I see the price of gold somewhere around $2,800 an ounce over the next couple years.

Put options will be another way to make money during this bear market.  And there are some ETF’s that can be productive with a weak dollar.  But when it bottoms out it will be a great time to buy.

Why am I so bearish on the stock market and why am I calling for another ‘Great Depression’?  Well just look closely at everything going on around us.  Interest rates have not gone anywhere for years.  This is not a good thing, it will create uncontrollable hyperinflation and that will in turn affect our economy in a negative way.

The actual unemployment rate is more like 15%, while our government tells us it is only 8.2%.  We keep printing money like we own all the gold in the world.  Greece has defaulted on their debt twice; Spain and Italy are close behind.  And in a couple years the United States will be right with them unless we change things drastically soon, and I do not see that happening.

The United States is no longer the leader of the human race, and our empire is falling fast.  Prepare yourself and do not get caught in the headlights of the speeding truck headed right for us.  Because it is coming!

God, Does He Exist?

This maybe one of the most dangerous subjects in society today.  If you say he does not exist, people are up in arms.  Understandably I guess as 98% of the people in the world believe in some kind of God.
However, most scientists will tell you that God simply does not exist. As they cannot figure it out.  Even the famed Stephen Falken will tell you that the laws of nature created us and not God.
But I have my own theory, it is something that I have believed for a long time but have shared with very few people.  I am coming out with my theory now just because I think I should share it with whomever wants to know.  And I’ll put it out there just in case someone takes credit for something I thought of years ago.
Scientists have some amazing things figured out all the way back to the actually beginning of time.  Approximately 13.7 billion years ago with the big bang and that explosion of energy is still expanding today.  So what created that big bang?
This is where scientists fall short and my theory takes over.  My theory is that God decided to give up his eternal spirit to create the big bang.  What else could create an explosion of such magnitude?
So what happens when we die?  Do we go to heaven?  What happens, do we just decay and disappear?  Well I think because we are basically energy like everything else in this universe.  We just become part of that energy, maybe with some kind of consciousness, or maybe not…
But just think there are a lot of ghost sightings, not that I have seen one, but that could help explain that phenomenon.  And if we can do that maybe God has some kind of presence there also.  Guess something like that could be called heaven.  Flying through the universe without the confines of your body visiting galaxies all over the universe in the blink of an eye!
So what about religion some might say…  Well I do not see anything wrong with getting together to worship the creator and enjoy each others company more than anything.  Even if there was a God, when I think of it rationally I just can’t seem to see this great wrath.  Or why I would want anyone to worship me one day out of seven.
My love would be unconditionally like a mother or father.  And our relationship would be a one on one relationship, without church or any kind of religion.  If fact, if God does exist, religion must be his top pet peeve!  And his only commandment would be to love and help one another, period!
What about Jesus, someone might ask.  Well my theory there is that Jesus was a pond in a very elaborate scam.  I believe Jesus was brought up the son of God and he fully embraced the role.  And he did a great thing, as most great men do; he gave a world, Hope and Faith.
But I think a real God would rather we had faith in each other rather than faith in his existence.  Faith in ourselves to do the right thing, help others in need, and to simply love thy neighbor.
Mom and Dad hope I didn’t just totally freak you out.  And anyone else reading this I mean no disrespect towards any religion and wish to not upset anyone.  I just feel I am entitled to my opinion.  But I do want to apologize to anyone that may of taken offense to this article.  That was not my intention.
I just wanted to share my theory on a very large and delicate subject.  And I have faith that most of you will understand my theory and will not take it personal.  As after all it is just a theory.  And a theory just an opinion, and we all know what they say about opinions…  cause everyone has one right?
Enjoy life and have faith in one another, love one another, and just be happy, happy, joy, joy…!

MARKET MAGIC REPORT Vol. III Issue I "Getting Back on Track"

The stock market is at a level it really should not be in my opinion. Does anyone reading this really think that the economy and job place is where it was in 2007? I do not believe we are anywhere near there but the stock market has almost reached those same levels.

Why? Not sure with everything else going on in Europe, China, and other places. Then again many companies are sitting on more capital than they ever have before. But that is not enough for me; this market is prime for a major pull back or bear market.

When this happens however I personally believe that the stock market will never be that low again. Provided there is no major global disaster, which I guess is the big question these days. But you will never have a better buying opportunity ever again.

I will be looking at some stocks over the next few months or so and will have stock picks for you that will grow 100 times over after this low point in the stock market. I believe there are some companies in the ‘Green Industry’ that will really take off.

Actually Clean Energy Fuel, stock symbol CLNE, is one that has already taken off but wait for this next bear market to buy in. First Solar, FSLR is another one, but I will have more in the coming months.

Until this bear market is very careful playing in the stock market but money still can be made as we all know. It is just a matter of knowing where to put your money and when. For instance a month ago the banks would have been a great play. Either buying them straight up or with ‘call’ options there was money to be made.

Until I find something nice to share I would just say watch the market and look for it to start to sputter then place a QQQ ‘put’ option on the board. Always a nice safe way to play a bear market especially in the Tech sector as they have had a nice run also.

I will try to be more regular here with my updates with this section as well as others. Probably on a monthly basis. If I fail to come through for any of my readers please feel free to write me at jkanemky@yahoo.com and light a fire under my ass, so to speak…

What, Where, & When!?*

Well it is has been a year since I wrote anything on my blog site. Don't think anyone has missed me being here but thought I would write something down. If anything it might be good for my own mind, body and soul. Not sure what I will be writing about in the days to come but I am sure it will be entertaining for someone out there in the blog world.
However, the only thing that really matters is that I find some kind of gratification in all this writing. I might get back into the stock market stuff as it has been a hobby of mine for a while now and I enjoy it. Probably some sports stuff, and other stories that will range from horror to comedy. However, I am not sure how funny of a writer I am but we all might find out soon.
If anyone does end up ready my stuff, thanks! I truly appreciate it as I never considered myself a great writer but I enjoy it, and that is all that counts. Anyway thanks again for reading and I hope I will be able to entertain you better over the next 50 years... provided I have that long left on this wonderful place we call earth.
